| Business Integrity Award Winners

2007 - Columbus, Ohio – Your Better Business Bureau serving Central Ohio announced today the recipients of the 14th annual Integrity Awards.
Five businesses and three non-profit organizations have been selected as recipients of the prestigious 2007 Integrity Award.
Recipients of the 2007 Business Integrity Award, including a description of their line of business are: Buckeye Basements – Basement Remodeling; Columbus Business First – weekly business newspaper; Expesite – Project Management software; J & D Basement Systems – Basement Waterproofing & finishing; CarMax – used car retailer.
The Non-Profit categories are: Homes on the Hill – New and rehabilitation construction and home maintenance programs for low and middle income people in the Hilltop area; Children’s Hunger Alliance - Programs include early care nutrition and education, after school nutrition and education, school and summer nutrition public policy; Lutheran Social Services – Operates food pantries, homeless shelters, senior living facilities, affordable housing for seniors and disabled, healthcare facilities, adoption services, counseling, disaster relief and other programs.
A panel of judges selected these companies based on a number of criteria including their high standards of excellence towards customers, employees, suppliers, shareholders, and communities in which they do business, and their reputation of ethical practices in the marketplace.

Kip Morse, president and CEO of the Better Business Bureau. "These eight Integrity Award recipients exemplify exceedingly high standards of trust in their business practices, truthful sales and advertising, and a reputation for noteworthy contributions to their industries and the communities in which they do business."
