| Better Business Bureau Announces 2008
‘Student of Integrity’ Award Recipients
Awards will be presented in conjunction with the annual Business Integrity Awards Program October 28, 2008
September 17, 2008 - COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Better Business Bureau introduced the Student of Integrity Awards program to honor high school students through a scholarship competition. A program of BBB’s Center for Character Ethics, the Student of Integrity Award recognizes high school seniors in the Central Ohio area who personify ethics through leadership, community service, overall personal integrity and academic history.
An independent selection committee has selected ten award recipients, and each will be presented with a $1,000 scholarship to an accredited school/college of his/her choice. Awards will be presented Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom in downtown Columbus, Ohio, in conjunction with the BBB’s annual Integrity Awards Program.

A total of 207 public and non-public high schools within BBB’s 21-county service area were invited to participate by selecting their own Student of Integrity, and in turn submitting an application to the BBB. Honorable mentions will be awarded to students who were selected to represent their school as a “Student of Integrity.”
